Perry James Lodge

Perry James Lodge welcomes aged people who require minimal assistance with daily living skills within a secure and homelike environment.

The Perry James Lodge has been named after the local resident who originally conceptualised an aged care facility for the Moree District. Mr Perry James was a long standing supporter of Fairview and served as the Committee Chairman for over 30 years.

Perry James Lodge is Fairview’s home for aged people who may require minimal assistance with daily living skills, which might include taking medication, bathing, grooming or any activity that aged people may find difficult. Cleaning, laundry and ironing services are provided, and there is a resident laundry for those who wish to do their own laundry.

Residents enjoy meals together in a light and spacious dining room where a menu choice is available. Residents enjoy a diverse range of activities so morning and afternoon teas are served wherever they choose.

The Perry James Lodge has two television/lounge rooms, with a billiard room, quiet sitting room/library and a large activity room as well as outside gardens, verandahs and courtyards.

Leisure and lifestyle are highly valued at Fairview and residents participate in many provided activities and are encouraged to continue outside activities such as service and sporting clubs, volunteer groups as well as contact with family and friends.
